It’s a 3rd person shooter where you play as either an Inkling or an Octoling that you can battle in 4v4 games of Turf war, or ranked games like Rainmaker and Tower Control
Turf war is where you have to cover as much turf as possible with your weapons that shoot ink to cover the ground, And you can also shoot opponents to splat them

Theres also Salmon run where you play with 3 other players to go on a job to splat Salmonids and splat Boss Salmonids for their golden eggs to deliver to the basket
You have to reach quota before time runs out or everyone gets splated otherwise ITS A WRAP.
