There are some biomes which I have wanted to see for a long time:
Subtropical biome: Grass is orangey, like desert grass. Small jungle trees are scattered but denser than plains biomes. Surface: Relatively hilly, some huge rocky outcrops with some ores, large areas of grass and some patches of stone, sandstone and occasionally even smaller patches of gravel and clay. Lots of small lakes too.
Boreal biome: Very flat, like desert biome pre-1.2, Layer snow is 3-4 blocks thick, under that there is a layer of ice 1-2 blocks thick then water, where you can catch icefish as well as normal fish. Icefish restore 1 more heart than normal fish. No trees or grass whatsoever and no life apart from naturally occurring snow golems and sheep, and monsters of course. Also villages could occur but made out of snow, like desert villages are made out of sand and sandstone? And the occasional ice well, as a generated structure? Not to mention igloos, where villagers live on their own, and have really good loot and sell for low prices? Igloos are very rare.
Antarctic biome: Like boreal biome but instead of water under the surface there is stone and normal underground terrain build-up. Also occasional rocky mountains, but no grass. No igloos.
Eldin biome: Surface terrain made of stone, with some orangey grass, and lots of lakes full of lava. Rich in ores, including emerald, and obsidian can be found in veins. Occasional trees. Also bomb flowers; destroy them to give you the item, as well as possible bomb flower seeds (plant them in stone). Right click to throw the item like an egg, which explodes on impact Heart flowers, like roses but heart-shaped, grow on stone and in flower pots and are edible and restore HEALTH, not HUNGER. Using bone meal on stone will generate bomb flowers and heart flowers. If you are lost for graphics, all of these ideas come from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
I won't be offended if you don't use my ideas as they are very demanding, but I would love to see these made in Minecraft!
