So it took me a bit to figure out the new layout on the minecraft beds since they are now considered entities and be able to format the old high on sugar textures to it as well as texture the legs and underside, But I finally got it layed out correctly! Now im going to come up with designs for the other beds and i wonder if i should also make them alternate poptart flavors, hmmm

I've been too sick to do anything including playing games and just had surgery a few days ago so honestly no more progress was made, And im not sure I still have the files from when I was updating it. I hope to maybe pick it up someday again when im healed now that my health will finally be improving because of the surgery I had though ;v;

I may have to see about getting a friend to help

the currently finished blocks! I also went ahead and made the texture for crimson and warped planks. I decided on a light purple for the crimson planks? but may change later on, I thought purple would go well with all the pink thats in the nether biome from the pack haha.

Yuikami really did an amazing job! Granted now they do texture work for other things now but i still like their minecraft work.
Its going to be interesting trying to match the style all the further I get into texturing some of the blocks that came out after the prismarine and purpur updates. So far the only new things ive gone and textured are the warped planks and crimson planks but those are recolors of the OG planks to match, and then the stripped logs which i still need to add the top textures to.

Horses I feel might begin to be difficult on updating the textures since their entire models changed and I dont know the texture formats well to be able to map the old one over the new one and simply edit in other bits left untextured.

Im not as great as texturing as her but im hoping once i get to updating all the old textures to work with 1.16 and get towards working on my own for the newer stuff that was made after the latest of the pack, I can make things that stay true to the originals aesthetic ;v;

does this pattern look interesting? this ones on brown concrete and connected together i think has a interesting effect with the corner bits but im not sure haha.

Im really sad I lost all the progress I made on the high on sugar pack when my laptop got corrupted :( Im going to pick it back up soon though hopefully and this time im going to place a backup on dropbox each time i update the coding haha

Yeah, I think I have an idea as to how to make it go faster though for updating the past textures to 1.16, The renaming of files itself wasnt so bad, It's the coding itself that got lengthy last time but I think rather than do it all from scratch with the latest pack they had on the facebook page im going to get a 1.16 pack as a base that already has the coding done and simply work on renaming the files so they go over the other textures and are already attatched to the coding which should cut down the time a bit I think!

Then I'm going to put a download to the minecraft forum of that and work on texturing all the new items!

Guys guess what?????

I finally made my first custom PC! It took a few months but i managed to get all the parts i needed for a budget PC that can still do high FPS games at a minimum of 60FPS :D

im still waiting on one last thing which is the antenna to boost the wifi chip because it doesnt work so great in my room so online games atm are out of the question but yeah, im so stoked! I just need to move all my stuff from my laptops over which is what is taking the longest.

Someone gave me the idea yesterday to make the ancient debris block a cinnamon bun and I didnt quite feel like updating too much of the old high on sugar textures so I went and made a texture for the ancient debris! Need to adjust the shading and positioning of the frosting, but thats for tomorrow!

The dandelions are FINALLY fixed! This means now that I know the coding errors and where they were I can go through all the other plants and fix them as well! After getting the plants done I think i'll release what I have so far of the 1.16 update and then work on the rest as time goes on!

thanks to dreamCritting I fixed the colormap for the Birch and Spruce leaves so they aren't green anymore! It was a simple naming error Yuikami had on the folders as to why they didnt work, Now they've got the proper colors!

All the tree textures have been fixed to 1.16! I'll have to figure out this colormap thing somehow for the spruce and birch leaves to be the correct pink rather than being green for whatever reason but until then here have a look!

The current high on sugar blocks fixed/renamed so far, rest still need to be updated to the new 1.16 names, if anyone knows why the birch leaves are green instead of pink like in their proper design please let me know!

I do have a colormap named folder but not inside a subfolder called optifine in the rescource pack, i'll try that out real quick see if it works then!

Make a folder called optifine inside the minecraft folder of the texture pack, inside the optifine folder put a folder called colormap, then inside that put a 256 by 256 pixel png file called birch

Then make the birch.png have the same color as the main color you want the texture to have.

Then if you want other colormaps for swamp colors or spruce colors make colormaps called swampfoliage swampgrass and pine (the colormap for spruce is called pine)

Then download optifine: https://www.optifine.net/downloads and download the version you want (I use the mirror download button because it doesn't take you to adfocus) and once you've downloaded it double click the jar file.

Then load up the minecraft launcher, you should see a new version called Optifine, load up minecraft with it and test if the texture pack works.

If you want to to be pink then make the colormap pink.

The colormap is usually 256x256 but I it can be higher res.

The birch leaves, swamp grass/foliage and spruce leaves don't use the normal colormap and can only be changed with an optifine colormap
