I had this problem last night on my laptop.

Are you using AVG? If you are try disabling it when playing Minecraft, or you can try making Minecraft an exception.

I don't fully understand your question, but you can change the leather armor helemet to be a leather hat, that looks completely difrentte from the original armor (shape and look) You can also make the icon for the armor change too. I hope this answrr your question.

    1. MCSKinEdit3D - I highly recommend this software and the best part, it's absolutely free.
    2. If used them, but they're not exactly my cup of tea.
    3. Shading depends on which angle you want your imaginery "light" to come from. From there you can decide how and where to shade. Or you can use a tools in many skin editors that shade and add texture for you.
    4. I did'nt use any blogs or tutorials, I learned from trial and error. But my best bet is Youtube lol.

The lag is mainly coming from the video capture software. Try changing or experimenting with other software, or you can try rasing how much fps the video captures.

If your using Windows, I can help. If not sorry .
Your Minecraft.jar file should be there, Minecraft can't function without it.
    1. OK so go to your start button or Windows button on your screen and click it.
    2. Type Run in the search bar and click on Run.
    3. Look for .minecraft and open it.
    4. Open your bin folder- This is where people get confused, it doesn't have to say Minecraft.jar but it should at least say Minecraft. Look for the the icon with the java picture in your bin folder and make sure it at least says Minecraft. That should be your MInecraft.jar.
    5. If this doesn't work repeat steps 1-2 and delete your .minecraft folder. WARNING this will delete all your MInecraft Mods.
    6. Now just open up Minecraft again and repeat steps 1-4.
    Hopefully this helped...

bmw400I was on creative and i was in the desert and i found a odd little well in the middle of it.
idk if it forms naturally or if it was manmade. there was nothing special and i didnt build it!

Please, post if found the strange little well (no mods)

Sad to say, but wells are part of Minecraft . But you did find something fairly rare. Desert wells were introduced in version 1.2.1 and have a 1/1000 chance of generating in a desert biome. That's why you were so shocked to see one .
