  I downloaded a resource pack and it doesn't work for me, instead of being a Halo Infinite - Mk50 Sidekick Pack that replaces the bow, a block of purple and black cubes appears

  This texture pack Halo Infinite - Mk50 Sidekick Pack is 2 years old, made for 1.18 and is of higher resolution 64 vs the vanilla 16 pixel.
  
  Waht version are you playing? (1.20.6 in particular changes some things.)
  
  Have yo been able to successfully install any 64x texture packs? If not you may need to first install a mod that handles this resolution. [​See others for recomendations, I play at the vanilla 16.]
  
  Have you been successful in using any of the uploader's other texture packs?
  
  You might alos try PMimng the author (last seen on site 10 days ago) for assistance…
