Got something new in the works, finally ready to tease it here. This is a collab with SkitteryFiber, a 4:1 scale Titanic! It will feature full interior as well as a large portion of the Thompson Graving Dock area in Belfast. We hope to have this entirely finished and available for download on Patreon by the end of the summer. I am also posting regular updates of the progress on Patreon, so consider supporting me there to stay up-to-date.
When QM is finished it will include the drydock, since the ship is not finished I didn't include the drydock, that's an added bonus for when it is entirely complete. This map will include Titanic and the drydock, but we also plan on a version of just the ship by itself as well.
Will the model be in the Thompson Dry Dock or will it be just the model? Because I was expecting the Queen Mary to be in her drydock given the images promoting her when she first came out, but will this model actually contain the dry dock and the field seen in this image? I really would love for it to be in this build for sure.
Just as an FYI for everyone, I will be removing all my downloads on May 7 and making them Patreon exclusives. So if there is a build of mine you haven't downloaded yet and want to explore, download it before then. Beginning May 7 all downloads will be Patreon exclusive. Apologies to anyone this might upset, but I put a lot of time and effort into these builds and as much as I enjoy sharing them publically, the risk of other websites easily stealing my builds is too great.
Hi everyone! Go check out my friend skitteryfiber's new project, a 4:1 Lusitania! I'm helping him with the interior, and he just posted the exterior on PMC, give it a diamond and sub to see new updates as they come out!
Curious as to what ships I'm working on each week? Consider supporting me on Patreon where I post updates on what I'm working on, as well as getting access to project downloads 1 week before everyone else! I just posted an update for what I'm currently building, you can check it out here: www.patreon.com/posts/ocean-liner-57963488
Hello! On your patreon you said you would be into building naval ships that are not from World War II, could that apply to the Iowa class 1980s configuration?
Currently working on a few updates to previously uploaded ships, such as hullwork and better details. Hope to upload the updated models and renders sometime in the next few weeks. Iowa and Wisconsin also almost ready to go. Trying to balance life and ships right now, hang tight!
It depends on each ship, some can take up to 5 months, some much less. To be perfectly honest, the Missouri took me only 3 weeks, and then I finished the other 3 Iowas within a week afterward, mostly because I was super motivated to build them and I happened to have a good amount of free time around then. It takes me longer to render them mostly because I'm lazy once they're done lol. For Iowa and Wisonsin I just need to do a water render for each one then they're ready to be posted, so hopefully this week I can get that done.
Hi everyone, got some exciting news! Curious as to what ships I've been working on? Well, then consider supporting me on Patreon! I'll be posting weekly screenshots and renders of what I'm working on, where I will also answer any questions you might have about what I'm building or what I have planned. Check out the link below, I'd really appreciate it!
Yep! I had a little help finishing part of the bow, but the rest of the ship was done by me. I have the entire Iowa class finished, I just haven't gotten around to rendering and posting them yet. Coming soon with downloads though!
Just a quick update; I have three, yes, three new ships coming this week! I've also got a fourth ship coming in the next few weeks, so be on the lookout! In the meantime, enjoy this pic of Yorktown burning
For those of you who remember the last screenshot I included of QM's aft engine room, a lot has changed since then. The aft engine room alone is only about half completed, and I haven't touched the forward one yet.....
Hello everyone! Quick update, I haven't forgotten about the Queen mary, I've been acquiring new plans and started working on her again recently. I also have a new ship coming next week, so stay tuned!
Hey guys! I know I've been a little quiet on here lately, but I've got a few different things in the works. There will be a few new projects in the coming weeks to celebrate some historical anniversaries. For now, enjoy some rivets ;)
Since my last 2 projects were remakes of previous builds, I thought it would be nice to update you all on where I am with my other projects, in case you were wondering why it takes me so long to upload something...
