What I plan to do on PMC

So, I'm fairly new to Planet Minecraft, I mean, I've used it for downloading worlds and such, but I'd like to be someone that posts things for people to use and share! I am pretty bad at building, so if it's a project or a world that you can download it might be a game instead of a castle or something like that. I do design skins on a level, but I don't know how many people would appreciate that. So the last thing on the list is texture packs. I've tried to make one before and it turned out like the ones you'd see a 6-year-old make. Saying that I used Microsoft Paint, so you can't blame me. You should let me know what software (free) that I could use to make skins and/or texture packs. I am always open to ideas, so throw them at me! I'm out for now
