Take a look at a few calculations I made: The Gregorian Calendar was enforced by Pope Gregory XIII iin 1582, and, after some calculations, I have deduced that approximately six extra months of solely leap days have elapsed since it was enforced. However, the Mayan civilization existed and died out far before this date. Therefore, according to the Mayan Calendar, the world should have ended six months ago. Also, Mayan Calendars have been found dating far into the future, and all the end of the Mayan Calendar ending on December 21st, 2012 meant the start of a new solar cycle, a period of time in their complicated method of keeping time.
