Hello, for a few months I have been working on a
Simple Guide to Minecraft on Wikibooks (Wikibooks is made by the same people that made Wikipedia, so editing/formatting works the same). The goal is to help new players learn to play by providing information on how Minecraft features work.
If you would like to help, you can edit it at
this link, but you have to follow both the
book Manual of Style (MoS) and the
Wikibooks global MoS. A to-do list, of sorts, can be found at the
Table of Contents for the book, and the bars next to the page name show how completed that page is. Red links show that page has not been started at all.
If you have any questions, ask me here or on
my Wikibooks User talk page.
Edit: please type {{bookcat}} at the end of every new page (you have to type it, not copy/paste). This will make the pages format properly, as part of the book and not an individual page by itself. Also, this book is not meant to be a directory of all blocks/mobs/items, as it's meant to be a simple guide to help new players.
