Try using a downgraded version of 1.7.10 forge.

Eth5I like the shading But the only thing that I don't like is its TOO SIMPLE like nothing just a donut with words

(sorry I had to)
However, using a donut ring is a good test to start (in my opinion) to learn the basics, but then again it's just my own opinion.
And that is why I want advice really!
