With 750 subscribers, he is not likely to earn any money through YouTube. You need a minimum of about (I think) a couple thousand views every month or day (I forget https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/154018

As for your comment on "the times", his dad might just be trying to protect him from the ruthlessness of the internet. Or maybe his dad doesn't want him accidentally releasing any private information on the internet. Or maybe he fears it may be interrupting his studies. There are many reasons.

My advice: Unless you can prove to your parents that you can keep up a good grade and are EXTREMELY dedicated to producing content for YouTube, you should probably listen to them.

A little about yourself: I am a devout minecraft player and have been playing since 1.2.4. I like to think of myself as good at survival and PVP and redstone. Though not maybe the redstone. Anyway, I make corny jokes occasionally to try to lighten the mood. I really like gaming and play games such as Minecraft, TF2, and Battlefield 3.

How long can you get on a day?: Several hours a day, ranging from 1 to 5.

Um...absolutely not. Sorry. Chromebooks are basically just the internet, and is based of Linux. You can't install Java on it because Chrome OS doesn't allow it. And besides, it has a terrible processor that wouldn't even be able to run Minecraft, period. If you are considering buying it, don't. Unless you are only going to watch youtube videos. If you already bought it, I suggest returning it and getting a better laptop. Sorry.

What do you want to do on this tablet? If you want to play games that are graphically intensive, then $150 is not going to cut it. Also, don't expect anything over about ten inches.

You can just travel to new chunks when 1.7 comes out and that should load new biomes.

Hey there, my name is Cool_Carsonian and I'm 15. I also live in 'Murica and suck at PvP. I know a little bit of redstone but not a ton. I have been looking for someone to play minecraft with because none of my friends play minecraft and SinglePlayer gets boring after a while. I tend to make really bad puns and jokes that are not funny at all. I would make videos but I don't have a good enough computer. Anyways (I know my posts tend to get too long), it would be cool to play minecraft together sometime.
