Do you have any modifications installed that require forge? Make sure you have installed any modifications correctly.

Did you download the installer of forge? That makes it way easier.

Anyways, this may be a Modification that you have not installed correctly. Just simply place the .zip folder in the MODS folder for forge/

I see your confused, I was as well. But I will guide you.

Maybe I was wrong, make sure you delete the META INF in minecraft.jar

The blackscreen is a common Bug, make sure you delete META-INF and run the correct profile, FORGE installer should have deleted META INF but I can confirm it did.

If META-INF is still there, delete it and try again, I will do my absolute best to assist you. Just ask for more help if it didnt work

Well, download this http://www.mediafire.com/download/be3bpcuc7skd817/Default+Resource+Pack.zip

Then, make a new folder and copy and paste the contents of the download into that folder. Then open assets folder and every texture will be right there, they are .png files. Just open the .png files with GIMP and simply start editing the PNG with GIMP and then save, you can save the file then it will be changed.

Any other questions? I am a Texture Pack expert xD just ask me for help!

Please download the latest Installer. If you want Universal then its a manual install. I honestly think the installer will be better for you! But use universal if you like I don't have any experience with installing FORGE Universal.

Basically, the problem here is that Java is taking to long to read the server details. This is caused by lack of internet connection. You may be experiencing these problems on your browser.

What you can try:
Reset your internet

Problem:

Minecraft (Java Application) is taking to long to connect to the servers internet source, which is causing it to timeout.

I may be wrong here!

If you have forge, place the .zip file in the mods folder. No need to delete meta inf for forge. However, I dont really know what your asking here. Please give me a more in-depth problem and I will try my best to understand what ur asking. Thanks - Developing_

1 More thing, I don't understand if your giving me a tutorial on how to install pixelmon, but if it is a tutorial, please post it in the Blogs section. - Thanks again, Developing_

More information on installing mods with forge:

In your appdata search for "mods" folder forge should have installed. And place the downloaded .zip file in there, Forge should automatically unpack it when you launch the FORGE profile. If you are installing mods that require forge, without forge. This could happen. But I dont know. But with a mod that REQUIRES FORGE please do not make a new profile just place the downloaded .zip file in your mods folder.
