When i made a download of the normal minecraft texturepacks to change it on the mob part have the herobrine and the pigman, my frien saw it and on 3 or more versions of the game appear -herobrine so they say that the herobrine stop to exit on the 1.4 but on the 1.5 appear -herobrine so i belive in it, but is a very rare thing.
