Well, I do believe im getting closer to the final product. I was too lazy to put up lighting at the moment since im not sure what im going to do yet. I was thinking of giving the floor the same treatment as the walls and ceiling. I want it to look as crazy as possible for some reason. Ill have to find another amethyst deposit, however.

Should I make the floor the same as the ceiling or should I do something different? Obviously that checkered pattern in the center is staying.

Yay! Got the wall and the path done! Now, the nether brick has been replaced with polished blackstone. I dont know how i want to actually do the nether portal space or the ceiling. Im trying to do a spiral but I cant figure it out. Maybe it is bedtime...

Im making a weird Nether Portal room. I wanted it spiraling all over like an optical illusion but Im not sure which dark colored block to use: Smooth Basalt or Smooth Blackstone...I like the blackstone but it doesnt match with the calcite much and i have to farm it in the Nether, and the basalt matches too well. I was going to make the ceiling spiral too.

I do like the loom look too! Im just not sure i like the inverted slabs...should I just put them at the top of the block to make it less weird?

Ohh, loom blocks make for empty shelves??? That is such a cool idea! Do stairs with signs still make for good chairs too?

Hmm, maybe if you add in more book shelves, then it could add some more of a "library" feel to it. You should also add in loom blocks occasionally into the shelves to make it look like it's empty.
