    And now it's time for Super Random Peridot Day Hyperforce Go, AKA, Napoleon's Birthday... The once every year tradition where I draw Napoleon as a cat frog (formerly a Peridot). I couldn't really top last year's doodle, so here's a meme edit of him instead:

    But nahh, I ain't that famous here. Sure, I might be a veteran, but there's more active, talented and respected folks on this site that get more attention. Since the beginning I was never fully in it for the clicks. I'm just doing what I like and people react to it how they wish. ;3

    ...Well. I never thought I'd see this day, but PMC has stooped to it's ultimate low. Consider this a mini blog or a highly opinionated, emotionally charged rant if you will. A return to form but in the form of a wall post. To start as a bit of a disclaimer, I'm not usually the kind of person to hate change... Or at least not anymore. I like features that are cool or benefit the site in one way or another. Heck, there are some PMC features I adore like wall posts, blogs and more! And of course, I've been on a hiatus from the site to focus on my Discord as well as my new job (yes, I finally got one of those back in August of this year! Peridot Month saves me again!!), only occasionally returning for the funny memery or update my profile regarding specific new interests in shows I've discovered and adored. So recently, I've been following this ticket regarding PMC Cards for a good while, now, and it seemed like a pretty neat idea! Users of the website being able to create their own card and them having a specific rarity amongst other members (the higher your level, the higher the rarity) as well as a description akin to a forum signature sounded so cool! I couldn't wait for such a feature to be released!! But of course, once the feature was released, there had to be a catch... A silver lining to it all: The feature had become... NFTs. In card form. What. The actual. Heck, PMC? I was eager to see my fellow PMC pals in card form, but instead, you gave us bland, interchangeable, cringe emojis in the Minecraft style. Now, I don't blame the artist who designed these. They're doing their work. I blame whoever thought making NFTs for PMC was a good idea (I don't wish harm or anything. I just want you to realize this was a bad decision, own up to it, and learn from it so you don't repeat it). I know it's an optional thing on the site, but I'm sorry! I just don't want to be associated with a place that encourages this. The only thing I don't mind is that you don't have to pay actual money for the coins and you can't exchange it for real money (as far as I know, thank gosh). It's just a goofy little thing that emulates Pokemon cards or loot boxes and level up to get coins. I would've been fine if they went with the initial idea of PMC users being cards they can customize themselves and emulated the card collecting experience that way. I'm just annoyed they had to combine it with something I hate and would not touch with a 39 and a 1/2 foot pole. And for that, I've decided I'm going to have an even longer hiatus and probably even drop secret projects I had planned for you guys. It was the final nail in the coffin that made me realize this place became a mess. I still love the good aspects of PMC and will acknowledge it made me into who I am today. Even my friends on here are wonderful people that I am truly grateful for (even ones I have cut ties with, but still have fond memories of on the occasion)! Heck, I'm still keeping this place up for the memories it brought to me and others who had fond experiences of it back in the olden days! But for now, unless this feature gets changed to not be NFT-inspired and goes back to it's roots, I will not be associated with PMC anymore (or at least, it's bad decisions, and I may return only for certain groups and the good sections of PMC).     OH! Wow, do I feel silly for posting this, now. I almost thought this was actual promoting of NFT-esque content when in reality, it's just a silly, April Fools joke. Man, do I feel dumb for letting my emotions go on this one. No hard feelings. Looks like I'll be here to stay thanks to your enlightenment! :D

    Hey! Just to clarify, CFTs aren't NFTs. They're simply parodies of them, and have no value other than as collectibles. You use PMT (again, not a legitimate currency) to “buy” random cards with pixel people- which you can then trade with other members if you'd like- created by @/Cyprezz and @/Paril. It is a little unfortunate that we cannot create our own cards, but it could still potentially be considered as a suggestion in the future, if you were to make a ticket about said idea.

    P.S. It started out as an April Fool's Day joke, but became a permanent thing, purely for entertainment.

    Hey guys! My apologies that there was no 2022 SSBM blog this year... I kinda lost all motivation in making blogs (even requests!), especially ones with due dates. This doesn't mean I'm done with blogging or PMC! It just means content will be rather slow because of this and I hope you guys will understand that.
