its been quite some time, but do not worry!! im working on the minesaurs texture pack still! because of the recent update to baby mobs, i've decided i'll be uploading the pack to modrinth in the future so that it can be used across different versions (26.1 and above will have separate baby textures, below that the babies will look how they do now). i'm not sure which versions i'll make specific packs for, but i don't want backdated packs to take up too much time so likely not any that would involve major model or texture changes.

because of the 26.1 changes, i'm going to postpone future updates until optifine for 26.1 is released (it'd be a bit pointless to release it before then anyways!). in the meantime, im doing my best to finish the rest of the mobs for Phase I. striders, sniffers, and turtles have all been finished. villagers' models are done and their textures are being worked on (each biomes' models are slightly different so it's very annoying getting things to work out), and mules and donkeys still have issues to be ironed out that i'm getting to the bottom of. all that being said, Phase I is very nearly complete!!

also, i'm heavily considering splitting the pack's content into three different packs: passive mobs, hostile mobs, and villagers. that way, you can choose which kinds of mobs get the dinosaur treatment and which ones don't. many hostile mobs will be much different than their vanilla versions so i want to give an option to remove them if they're not to someone's liking, and same goes with the villagers (which will be anthro dinosaurs, essentially). once the current passives/neutrals are finished, those will be in one completed pack available for download.

hope everyone is excited for the future!! i promise i havent abandoned this project, just got busy with a new job and lost interest in modeling for a little while. but i'm still workin on it!! keep an eye out!!

just added dromaeosaurs to the pack, check it out! this will be the last minor update for a while and the next will likely come out in late april with much more content :)
