MINECRAFT PLAYERS FREEZING

Hey everyone, I don't know if it's just my computer but, Whenever I play minecraft server's and i'm Pvp'ing, All the players that I pvp freeze for a few seconds and then kill me but I can't hit them because I don't know where they are. I have an average FPS of 120 and average my ping just depends what server i'm on. I have tried playing on different internet connections and servers but no prevail. Also when this happens, I can still look around and move it's just everyone and everything freezes. Please help!
