People retracting emeralds/diamonds etc. should subtract points (but its hard to see enough of that happening to account for this)
The only other way to lose points that I'm sure of is to delete posted material (including the bug that will switch one's banner to anonomous)

Not clear what effect another acount bening banned/deleted/memory-holed has. . . .

Please clew us in when you get to the bottom of this,

Just know that someone is trying to make clan banners like mine under anonymous make sure the creator name says my name in blue
