I've decided to temporarily give up on modding Minecraft and work on resource packs here because I want to move on to bigger and better things- Modding someone elses creation is nice, but I've been in Java for so long that I can basically understand how to do almost everything (except mixins and stuff), but it's almost too simple.

I've always wanted to move on to making my own game, but first, I'll explain the other reasons why I'm not really wanting to mod Minecraft.

I have an integrated graphics card according to some people. To be specific, it's a AMD Radeon HD 7500, and it's extremely outdated.

I looked into upgrading my graphics card, and basically found out that I need more power input, I need more space for the case, and the motherboard's probably too small. I also have a CPU that's not able to upgrade to Windows 11, so the only thing that doesn't really need upgrading is my RAM.

Now, Mojang has declared that they're going to be moving to Vulkan in the future. This is great but it's also unfortunate for me, because my computer definitely can't run Vulkan. In addition to this, I already have random crashes, and I can't do simple things like check hitboxes because switching to OpenGL 3 caused a ton of problems for me as well.

My problems aren't just limited to Minecraft, of course- I've also got issues with Lethal Company, some of my other games won't run, and I'm concerned that by the time I start developing, the things that some other games use for rendering (Like Terraria, Darkwood, my last few games) are also going to be out of touch so I'm not going to be able to get inspiration.

What's wrong with Lethal? Well, I don't get fog. That would be great, right? Sure, if it weren't accompanied by a consistent 20 fps, and if Zeekers wasn't intending on making a bunch of stuff reliant on the GPU in V80. And I dislike not having the intended experience, but I'm not here to complain, just to inform the people what my situation is.

That being said, I'll probably switch to modding Lethal or Terraria, maybe even Factorio (They're not really at risk because they use a hand built engine and stuff).
