Set around the year 9 B.C. during the years of Emperor Augustus, the Roman Empire rules from the oceans of Hispania, the mountains of Italia, all the way to the forests Germania. His legions continue to push Rome's boundaries, encountering many new barbarian tribes and strange beasts in the far frontiers. Here they would discover fresh tracts of land, ready to be civilized and claimed for all of Rome's glory. Of course, they were far from alone in the great expanse, encountering several other tribes of barbarians and some more civilized rivals. Strange races coexist along Humans here, with Satyrs, Hyperboreans, Minotaurs and many others. Some welcome the Romans while others see them with discontent. The ones that stand out the most are Plutos Undead minions, the Horde, who show dismay toward all living creatures. As the frontier lines grow, Rome demands more able men to settle and fight. Legio III Augusta, the Emperors newly raised Legion has been tasked with sending a Cohort to help establish and protect a small town on the New Land. However, the Romans are expected to eventually create several new settlements to secure ground across the region and compete with their ever-growing tribal rivals...
