Communities/Redstone How do you make command blocks work?

if you are on a server you need to edit the server.properties to have "enable-command-block=true" without the quotes. Once you have that you should be able to use command blocks. To edit the command in the command block you need op'd and in creative. The command blocks will understand any command that has been added by bukkit or mod in vanilla.

To obtain a command block do /give <playerName> 137 1

To use a command block hook up a redstone line to a button/lever and type whatever command you want to command block to do in the command block to push the button or pull the lever and the command will send the command that you put in it.

As for giving players items the command you would use is /give @p <itemID> <amount>

TruedoneI am currently making a pig racing map and I need some assistance for command blocks.

Is there a possible way that I can use a command block to kill everyone in the map to reset the game? I have tried kill @a or @a kill does'nt work. I currently have a rig so it teleports all players into a lava pit but I dont like it like that. Just wondering


instead of teleporting them into a lava pit just have them fall through the void like Hypixel.

you are able to play with mods without having the other person have the same mod unless the mod adds new things to the game like blocks or mobs.

If you do use a mod that adds blocks or mobs to the game then he *should* be able to play but he wont be able to see the blocks or mobs but still be able to get hurt or break the added stuff.

The top image, with they grey/white ancient Zombie's, looks amazing in my opinion, We would use that image, however it would be a bit tacky to have it on the server banner as well as the Website.
Kind (complicated, clean, or simple [look at front page for details] ) : Complicated, we would like it well detailed like how the images and background are on the website.

So sorry for the extreme wait, but I'm finally done! Hope you like it. It was a harder banner to make, because of the light effects, white background, and devilish background. If you want any changes, please ask.

My request was made about 2 weeks ago and i have gotten no confirmation on a date of completion, i have been waiting patiently but no one has responded, If one of the other banner designers can fullfil my request or take it over please do. I have been waiting way to long (longer then 14 days) which is longer then your estimated time of completion.

i would recommend that you also post this on the bukkit forums because many people look at that and also look into sending a message to codename_B on there, i have heard that he makes custom plugins for people.

what you just said there made me just want to shoot myself....

PC Languages = C, C#, Visual Basic, batch (others cannot remember)
PS3 LANGUAGE = ppu, spu, gcc, and uses a LINUX Kernal

In Otherwords, PS3 And PC ARE COMPLETE OPPOSITES!!!!
