There are tons of survival games plugins already out there. Each slightly different and for different situations. Take a look through Bukkit and Spigot and find one which you like the sound of the most. As you will not find a developer who has the skills to develop a full Survival Games plugin and who is willing to do it for free. If you go to the Spigot forums you can hire a developer from there.

Aah okay, so you are looking to host your website or other peoples website from a home machine? Well then almost all of the same issues I states above still apply, people can still DDoS you, you internet connection will not be fast enough to handle large amounts of visitors, you internet connection will make the website very slow. Plus you would have to pay for power, which can be pretty pricey if you leaving a computer on 24/7. My advise would still be not to do it.

I am unsure if you are just asking for jobs related to Minecraft of work in general. However if are you looking to earn money while working with Minecraft there are three main ways, coding, building and drawing.

Professional builders can get paid anything from $20-$1,500+ for a single build. Of course the larger amounts of money are for jobs which would only be possible with a team, and therefore you would not actually be paid $1,500 yourself.

Professional developers can be paid in multiple ways, either by the plugin, by the hour for a single plugin, or some servers hire developers as a full time position and pay them a salary. Developers can earn anything from $50 for a plugin to hundreds of thousands a year as full time server owners or developers for large servers.

Artists, can be a very rewarding job if you are truly talented, with some server owners and youtubers willing to pay hundreds of dollars for a single banner or logo.

Although remember due to each of these jobs being freelance work, it is incredibly hard to get work, and should not be seen as a steady source of income. To even stand a chance of getting noticed in this saturated market you will need a wheelbarrow of talent and heap of previous work to show people, before they will even consider paying for your services.

Planet Minecraft isn't really for server owners/developers. If you ask me there are 3 main spaces which Minecraft players can hang out in, depending on what they are looking for. Planet Minecraft, Bukkit and Spigot.

Planet Minecraft is built for the players, a place to show off your creations, builds, and interact with the community away from the game, it is built for the younger age group. I see PMC as an extension to the game, and a place to meet and hang out with others.

Bukkit is there for the developers. Anyone who either owns a server or develops their own plugins will visit bukkit frequently. Naturally it draws in the older age group as you have to have some sort of understanding of how servers work and an interest in coding. If you want to hang out with fellow developers and work together, then the Bukkit forums and the equivalent of PMC for the developers.

Then there is Spigot, for the server owners and developers who really know what is going on. The magical land of optimization and the business side of server ownership. Spigot also has it's own forums and chat room, and is another great place for developers to hang out.

Therefore is you want a place to discuss plugins and Bukkit, I suggest you either visit Bukkit or Spigot and talk to the fellow developers over there. You will find you receive much better responses from the community over there, as it is a whole separate world.

You to think to yourself, why would anyone pick your server over the other hundreds of thousands out there, what makes your server unique? If your struggling to find an answer to this question, then you need to find a something unique to make your server stand out.

Then once you have something unique to offer the community you need to sell your server to players before they even play it. Focus on the unique features you offer and present yourself how you want to be perceived. If you have the cash then buying some awesome graphics is a great way to put your server above the cut.

Once you have a successful idea and some snazzy graphics or banner to represent yourself, hit the voting sites, the forums, and youtube, and hit them hard. Get people taking, get involved in the different communities and then send people your server IP when they ask for it, never spam or try to push your server onto people, it will only ever push them further away.

Check your server log, that should give you an idea of what is causing the issue. If you do not manage to fix the issue yourself, please paste the log you have into pastebin and then give us the link so we can further investigate what might be the cause. http://pastebin.com/

Could you please both post a list of all the plugins you are using on your servers. We can then cross compare and find the plugin which is preventing the spawning. Without your plugin lists, we can't really help at all.

If you do not wish to put any time into running a server, then why not just join one which is already made? If however you are just looking to have a private server for your friends, but with all the functionality of a larger server then my advice would be to download maps and spawns from Planet Minecraft. There are thousands of awesome builds to use, and as long as you only use them for your private server or you give full credit to the builders, you should be fine using them.

It may also be your firewall, trying disabling your firewall and getting them to try again.

I would like to reinforce Bizzle and tell you not to go with HostHorde. As much as their cheap prices and "unlimited" plan seem like amazing deals, they are cheap because they have nothing to offer. I have used them in the past for development servers, and even with only me and my development team on (5 players) I was lagging and the server was down.

I would also like to bring up the fact that their support is terrible, yes it is always there and live, but you rarely get any questions answered. I would stongly suggest you go with a company with much better customer feedback and track record, such as McProHosting.

I would highly discourage it as home hosting a public server can lead to multiple problems.

Firstly regarding costs, buying a suitable dedicated machine to run public servers will cost at least $1,000. And that is without taking into consideration the costs of powering this machine 24/7, and your ISP internet fees.

Secondly regarding more serious issues, running a server from home can lead to serve security issues as you can easily get attacked by DDOSers, which will take down the internet for your whole house. Your ISP (Internet service provider) most likely also does not regard game server hosting as normal use, and therefore you can end up with heavy fees for running such a server from your home, and even get your internet cut off. All in all, costing you more money, and resulting in server down time for your players. On top of this, you will be putting heavy strains on your power, which can also cause short circuits, resulting in server down time, and possibly damaging your actual machine. You also have to realize that your ISP will not provide fast enough internet for you to host a server, which will also result in a laggy server for your players.

So overall, home hosting a public server is not a good idea. You will not save any money and it can cause a lot of problems for both yourself and your house hold. Instead I suggest you look into renting a dedicated machine or multiple VPS from OVH. They offer very low prices for some great specs and if you have the technical knowledge to set them up right you can fit hundreds and thousands of players on their machines. Take a look at their ranges and see what best fits your budget and needs: http://www.ovh.co.uk/

Or if you are looking for a smaller server to start out with I would suggest going tiwh McProHosting: https://mcprohosting.com/

You can also just do "- -essentials.build.344" to remove players from being able to use eggs completely. But yes I have no other solution for the dispenser problem, sorry. Using another plugin may be the only option.

Give our players this permission in your permissions plugin configuration and they will no longer be able to use mob eggs: " - -essentials.build.place.383:*".

If you go into your essentials plugin folder in your server files. You will see a .txt file called motd.txt. In there you will find your current welcome message for your players. You can change that as you will and test out how it looks in game, you can also use color codes just as you can in game.

As you are using Ultimate SkyBlock I am guessing you have your spawn in a separate world and linked together using Multiverse-Core. So all you have to do is go to your spawn world and type "/spawn" where you want the players to spawn when they die.

Then stop your server and go into your Multiverse-Core configuration, in your plugins folder. And set the respawn world for both the Spawn world and the Ultimate SkyBlock world to the name of the world your spawn is in. Save that, and then restart your server. Everything should now work.

To stop chicken eggs from being used simply use the permission: "- -essentials.build.place.344". And you can stop the use of dispensers with the permission: "- -essentials.build.place.23". As I do not see much use for a dispenser in a creative server anyway, I doubt the players will miss it.

The best ways to advertise are through voting sites, youtube and forums. What makes your server unique and stand out from the others? That should be what you focus on and sell when advertising your server. Most players are not looking for just another factions or survival server.
