Leonardo thought over the situation. It seemed to fit perfectly, and each little detail made sense. As much as Leonardo disliked assassins for not coming forthright and fighting and just stabbing people in the back, they did know thier stuff. Leonardo looked up from the ground. "No need for false courtesies, the day I trust a smiling assassin is the day I die." Leonardo started, "however your information checks in, you even somehow knew about the knife on the floor so you must be telling the truth. However what I require from you is not to kill this boy, but to find him. When you find him activate this fire beacon." Leonardo pulled out a red wood like stick with weird symbols inscribed into it. Each guard was given one of these if anything went wrong, and could be seen for miles. "To activate it throw it on the ground as hard as you can and it will erupt into a ball of harmless flames that will shoot up into the sky. If you decide to kill the boy, mark my words I will hunt you down and kill you. Those sickles have no use to you if an arrow comes flying at your heart from an unknown angle at an unknown time." Leonardo threatened.
He stepped back and looked around. "His wolf is his weak spot if you couldn't tell," Leonardo informed, "kill the wolf and gods know what will happen. He could either break, or murder twenty more people around him, so take care not to do that." He reached down to his belt and unhooked a small sack of coins. "This is half of your payment, fulfill what I have sought for you to do and you shall receive the rest of the payment." Leonardo said, and he tossed the bag to the assassin and turned his back, starting to walk away slowly. He prayed that this assassin wouldn't fail him, not that Leonardo was pious at all, in fact the opposite, he believed all gods were a lie, he realized this when others tormented Lyon for the sake of his pain.
