ArcaneDrinkName: Elaria Von Ruhnstep
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Race: Human
Appearance:
Faction: The Dominion
Weapon of choice: Elaria fights with her musket, rapier, and war-hound. Fights are often initiated with a shot (or two depending on the distance) from her musket, then switching to her sword to finish her foe. Her hound is often commanded to pin a wounded enemy, preventing their escape.
And before you say that a musket is OP because it's a gun, keep in mind that even a skilled musketeer could only fire one or two rounds in a minute, while an archer of the same skill level can more than 10 arrows a minute.
Backstory:
Born into a small town within the confines of The Dominion, Elaria was brought up as the apprentice to a guild master. His name was Hessel Brutchmark, renown for his dynamic and often fruitful investments. One night, when Elaria was only a girl of 9 years, a caravan visited her town of Ruhnstep. He made himself out to be a weaponsmith, though the townsfolk spied no swords, axes or bows in his luggage. Instead he drew a long stocky piece of equipment, made of both wood and steel. After a few seconds of preparation, he demonstrated it's power by shooting a watermelon off of a merchant's stand.
As quickly as the steel ball had flown, the man was taken into the offices of the Guild, where he described how to construct and operate what he described as the Matchlock Musket, for a large sum of coin that is. From then on, Hessel had his most competent smiths create these new weapons for himself, his closest friends, and of course, his apprentice, Elaria.
Her training with the rifle started at the ripe age of 10 years, she was taken out of her studies, and made to be become The Dominion's exemplar of firearm proficiency. Though now, the call to arms has been rung, and the task of scouting the land with rifle and hound has been passed down to her.
Erikcadw1Lately, I've been losing my mind on some stereotypical ( let's rephrase that to harsh) comments iv'e seen around here. A few months back I posted a recruit forum for a server I wanted to make. My main mistake though was that I wrote that I was 12 on the page, which led to a slew of hate and "too young" comments that ultimately made me delete the post. ( I later abandoned the account which led to the creation of this one) Are we really this hateful toward one another because of age differences, sure the cocky, eight year old in third grade is a new story but a mature 11 year old who would like a hustling and bustling sever be denied by some digits, kinda makes me irritated.
