Yea, I keep getting the same error to. It seems to happen when you try to view one of your own projects while signed in, I tried signing out and I could view it fine but when I sign back in I get the same error while trying to view the same thing.
I have never tried it, but I think you should be able to use a program like MCedit to be able to add things to the server world save, that is if they work anything like the singleplayer world saves do.
If you are looking for pictures for inspiration or ideas then google images is your friend. Searching for something as simple as "interesting buildings" can give you quite a few ideas that you could use in game.
It's one of the main reasons I don't ever build on servers. With the griefing and the he said she said fights that normally happen in chat all the time I try to just stay away. I do visit some servers from time to time but normally I remember pretty quickly why I don't play on one...
It exports it to the directory listed at the top of the export screen. If you have it set to the minecraft saves folder(ends in AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves) it should show up in your world select screen in game. If you have it set to another directory you will have to find where it saved to and copy and paste it to the saves folder.
It will allow you to do the ocean map very easily(not sure about the dungeons tho) along with lots of other things to any size you want. Its also really easy to use to.
I agree there are are way too many out there for how simple they are. I've found, and recommend to anyone else, that using the world painter program is the best way to start with a clean slate like that, and you can choose any surface material and map size you want.
I'm not sure how you would go about fixing it, I couldn't even find anything in the rules that said what you can and can't use, so I would assume some people think anything goes. I really just wanted to make sure I wasn't alone in feeling this way.
I've noticed this problem cropping up again with a few people. I know there is a 24 hour limit for projects being bumped to the top of the recently updated list but I think some are bypassing this by deleting logs and recreating them.

I couldn't help but to notice you listed Harvest Moon as one of your favorite games.... I have to say I have a lot of fond memories playing that on the old SNES. Hard to believe that game series has been around for 15 years now.
