I agree with you that a few hours seems like a good amount of time to constitute an update but I think there are some people out there that think more along the lines of my previous examples.

I've noticed my computers performance has slowed a bit recently also and was wondering of some cleaning programs. I've heard of spybot but not of the other two, I'll have to try them out and see if it helps. Thanks for the tips!

This was a matter of confusion on my part then. I have no problem if they are setup for all those things but I do think that a separate comment section should be created then. That would allow people to update info all they want while only "true" submission updates would be bumped to the top of the list. Or maybe only add a check box or button to the current setup indicating it is only an info update. Just a few ideas.

    Edit:
Since I'm thinking about it still, I wonder what really defines an update? Could I take my hillside manor project and plant a flower or chop down a tree every other day and call it an update? Or what about just changing the floor material or moving torches around? I wouldn't do this because I think of it as cheating to get more views but as you can see there is clearly a fine line about what an update means to any given person.

I don't think the problem is too bad yet, in fact I would doubt there are more than a few people actually abusing the system. I really think if the offending users were warned about it and told their updates would be watched closely that it would stop pretty fast. I really was only asking this question because I found one particular person who was clearly abusing it and was curious of the guidelines.

Another thing that may be more confusion than anything is how the logs are used. My take on the update logs is that they are there to actually say what you updated about the project or whatever, and that is it. It seems other people use it more for commentary on their projects or future plans and things like that. I would think stuff like this should be edited into the main descriptions if they want people to read it rather than creating logs.

Again, this is only small problem, but it's another that drives me crazy when I see it.

The problem lies in the fact that there's now no way to stop a minecart and start it again without the boosting glitch. My stations are/were a circuit with multiple stations. Yeah, an automated two station connection is possible, but my settup is completely bunk now.

Not sure if you are talking about how your project is but there is a really easy way to stop and start carts with powered rail. Using 4 pieces of it build a V shape, 2 diagonally down and 2 back up. When unpowered any cart will stop on the down slope, when powered on it will start moving in the direction it was before.

You can actually load and save schematic files with both the Worldedit mod and MCedit. I have done it several times. For more info check out http://wiki.sk89q.com/wiki/WorldEdit/Clipboard. Scroll to the bottom for the part about schematics.

It should be going to the \.minecraft\schematics folder. If you can't find it in there you may need to do a file search for it.

To test if everything is working right use your wand tool and select some blocks. Then use the //copy command and then //save xxxx (xxxx being the file name). Then select some other blocks use //copy again to overwrite the clipboard. Then finally try //load xxxx whatever the file you saved from to see if it can reload it alright. If all that works just find the schematic file saved from in game and make sure to put any other schematics you want in that directory. Hope that helps.
