Hello folks! In this post im going to reveal the release date for Five Nights at William's: The Beginning Plus 2.0: 13th October 2026.

Here is also a changelog list what the 2.0 update is going to add/change:
• Overhauled main menu
• Overhauled animatronic models
• Overhauled main night and post-night gameplay with new and improved mechanics
• Added custom night modifiers
• Added night events
• Added manual camera panning
• Added camera zoom function
• Added light overuse mechanic
• Added immersive door levers
• Added easy difficulty mode
• Added plus mode with exclusive randomized events
• Added new options
• Added visual indicator for disconnected cams
• Updated restaurant layout
• Updated cutscenes
• Re-recorded phone calls with subtitle support

The map is also going to use post-effects although very limited at the moment.


The map will be playable in Minecraft Java version 26.3 or above if next Minecraft version doesn't change important formats.

August 2026 in a nutshell

Hey all! I just found out that the mediafire download page for FNaW 2: Born to be Scapped was DMCA'd because of the camera static sound, therefore I'm going to make a hotfix for FNaW 2: BtbS where I will replace that specific sound thats causing the issue, and also fix an issue for unlocking the custom night. Nothing new will be added and the Minecraft version will stay the same, since there are issues with the resource pack in newer versions.

As for updates regarding FNaW: TB + 2.0, a trailer is being made and it might release in a few days.
As for when the 2.0 update releases, I might release the map when the next Minecraft update releases, since I want to do stuff with the new post-processing effects that are going to be added.

Alright I have news, the post I made a few months ago where I said Im going to leave PMC by the end of this year, well I decided ill stay a bit longer. Dont celebrate just yet I am still going to actually 100% leave at some point just not this year.

Current status of FNaW: TB + 2.0:

Five Nights at William's: The Beginning 2.0 has been about 94% completed!
All that has to be done now is playtesting and a few polishing on some points.

Now you might be asking what will happen to the old versions of the map, they are going to be archived and you will be able to still download the older versions on the PMC page of FNaW:TB +, just look in the description once the 2.0 update has been released.
That means you will be able to always enjoy the old versions whenever you want, or even burn the old versions onto your CD!
