Age: 16 Skype: I have one, but I'm not giving it out until I know a bit more about this project. Pictures: They're all here http://www.planetminecraft.com/member/jefe070/ Caves? Yes, I can build cave areas. Theme: any Rating: In comparison with the previous 2 apps I would be a 9-10. Realistically, I would probably give myself a 7. Slabs and stairs: If you mean detailing, then yeah. What I'm good at: Exteriors. Experience: 1 year of doing commissions for various servers.
Looks OK, but the walls are a bit repetitive. From far away its just looks like fuzzy spam detailing, since the wall segments are all the same and not clearly defined.
Inside a ship? Dining room, bar, swimming pool, suites, etc. I don't think you could fit engines or a ballroom in that space, but you could give that a try.
As far as I know, people who don't build by hand don't do either of the things you said. Most of us just use worldedit for stacking, filling, rotation etc and voxelsniper for terraforming...
You might wanna add a bit more detail to the walls. Usually inside a castle there is a smaller keep which looks like a large fortified house. This can be used for storage. You could also put a spiral staircase in the towers that lead up to an archery post or observation room.
what's the status on this contest? I notice that a lot of community contests close without giving out prizes or the people who started them disappear before the contest is over
It doesn't take time, you just have to be really really good and use worldedit well. If I played minecraft as a job i could probably churn out 1 build a day.
You could use the spawn I have on my profile. Its availible for public download, so you don't have to pay me. Generally, commissions for spawns should be between $50 and $150.
In general, you should include more details in your post to attract people. No expert builder will contact you on skype without at least knowing why you need them.
