Minecraft/Discussion What is the first server you EVER joined?

i can't remember much, but it was a vanilla survival server i think. i was very scared, i logged in, it was night, there were creepers, i hid in a cobblestone tower, i logged off

i think sometimes it can help to set a specific goal for yourself! whether or not its trying to get all the achievements, or build a town, etc etc, doing something different than you normally do can be helpful. :^)

i also find that changing up texture packs can help kind of give it a new feel!

and playing on a server if you normally play alone, or vice versa, can also help it feel fresh :^)

i think sometimes taking a break can be helpful! whether or not its just from that build, or from minecraft in general.

when im feeling burnt out from normal minecraft, ill play some modded minecraft, or vice versa.

in general, for me i find that refreshing myself with something different can sometimes get me over that wall! it's still very frustrating though.

in my most recent survival world, i made my base in the desert haha (something i usually dont do)

but yeah plains are definitely the best kind of "canvas" for building :^)

i'd want to travel at some point and see other countries! i also want to go to a hot springs... it just seems so much more neat than a hot tub

it would also be cool to make a game and get it on steam or something :>

hmmm, well i didnt have anything specific in mind really. i just imagined kind of normal dirt and stone, but if you want to get more interesting with it, go right ahead! sorry i dont have many more details to give haha

maybe you could have some kind of evil being from the far reaches of the end (not the end dragon). im kind of imagining something like the beholders, from dungeons and dragons haha

i find myself partial to vanilla, survival servers haha. maybe thats because i havent spent much time on other kinds though..

someone has probably already said this, but i really want to be able to place slabs vertically! i just think it would create much more possibilities for design and decoration haha

i also wish theyd add more stuff to the nether maybe. quartz is cool, and glowstone is very useful, but i want more ores, or maybe even plants that only grow in the nether (like ive seen in some mods)

it could also be neat if they added a version of glass without the streaks on it (though this is only a problem with the vanilla resource pack). i just think itd be a simple fix, maybe having to smelt the streaky glass again, or craft it into clearer glass. i dunno!

thats all i can think of at the moment :<>
