The way I found Planet Minecraft was an a long and tedious process originally only knew about a handful of different places where you could put your Skin's like seuscraft or even skin seed which I still have that app on my Android device but here on Planet Minecraft I have found a bunch of my favorite Minecraft YouTubers like unspeakable game and even some great cool friends that live nearby... I even got my first resource pack from Planet Minecraft and my first world and I learned about mcedit which was really cool I hope to learn more as the days progress

No. Windows 10 Edition is completely different from the standard PC version, and is cross-compatible with Pocket Edition only.

OP, have you tried reinstalling Minecraft? Not the .minecraft folder, but rather the installation located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft" ?


If you go to the Minecraft site itself it is compatible with Windows 10 you do not have to download it from the Windows 10 app store.... that's how I'm playing it right now .... I have had a Minecraft account since it came out I know how this works the Minecraft site where you can update your skin and everything has a compatible Windows download for Minecraft... I have put it on every computer I have ever had from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and I always got my download through the Minecraft site... And it has worked every time

I have Windows 10 and it works just great for me I even have 24 different mods on it try going to the Minecraft website and downloading the version for Windows 10 because the version for Windows 8 does not work completely on Windows 10
