Ok, lag is caused by your computer it is Slightly minecraft's fault because the game can currently only us one computer core. Which most computers only have one but for example dual-core and quad-core will not be able to use the maximum possessing power, the game's lag can be solved 3 ways:

-Add another RAM card to your computer (Newegg.comsells them) that will help

-Build a new computer (i built a computer for less than 250$ and it does very well)

-(the obvious thing you probably ignored) turn down render distance, change graphics to fast, install Optifine, turn off clouds, minimal particles, no smooth lighting. That is the free way to make minecraft faster.

Ok so this is how i see Os: I was building a computer and looked at my options, Mac's OS can not be put on custom computers (i custom computer usually is cheaper than an Ipad). So that left me with Linux and Windows, Linux ive never really understood so i decided to leave that out. So i went to windows, pretended that windows 8 doesnt exist (as we all should) and bought me windows 7. No regrets, i feel i made the right choice

I had the same problem, my solution is just to build a computer (Its actually not that hard). When you build one you get to only pay for what you need, for example instead of some ridiculous amount of HDD (ive seen up to 1TB) you can only put in as much as you need. It is actually pretty cheap i made a pretty good gaming computer for only about 250$ (and that is with the OS and everything else). Google can do wonders but for parts id suggest newegg.com

I cant be the only one having this problem: i started running a small server for me and my friends and when i updated it it stopped functioning, when i boot up the server it just stays blank and refuses to shut down, i've had to use task manager to stop it. ive tried starting it with the old properties, letting it generate new ones, and even letting it just be in a blank folder to generate all new files. Nothing has worked, perhaps this is why all the servers haven't updated

If you are patient enough you can build and sell computers, i am 13 and i already have a working computer built after saving up money for a few months. I would not reccomend this unless you have no other options (Mowing lawns works better or shoveling snow) but if you really want to try... newegg.com

i have to say i disagree with some ideas here, but agree with alot of them
Disagree: Leaft 4 Dead (after a few days/weeks everyone is dead, what do we do then?)
Agree: Minecraft (well ya know, we can always have fun here)
Pokemon (cause deep down we are all nerds)
Unecided:
Portal 1 and 2 (yes it would be fun, but if it were real, death wouldn't be just annoying)

command block is in the game you just have to use the "/give" command

i do but um i dont know if we need some of the stuff like witches: we dont need a mob that throws potions at us, and Beacon blocks: so there is a giant beacon in the sky giving us speed etc. that took a millionare to make... but i still am exited for 1.4

Withers even the wiki post scared the h*** out of me i mean seriously aren't endermen and creepers enough??? i mean if they add the wither minecraft will be a game of... Well let me put it this way: Day: happy sunshine. Night: you are being stalked and murdered by a three headed skeleton, a living explosive, and a teleporting demon... Do we need a wither in the game?

Use Screencast-O-Matic if you use free it has a watermark in the lower-left corner though
