They are 2 completely different things, you purchased your PC, therefore the rights are yours and you now own it. Templates are free, but the rights are still owned by the original artist. As far as I can read from your "explanation", you do use templates but it's fine because everyone else uses them and the same framework so it's not copying or anything.
This is exactly like me saying "I'm just going to take Planet Minecraft's site theme, use it on my website and claim it as my own work. But it's not copying because Cyprezz and 800,000 other users use it and 78% of them are using the same Browser"
I'm sorry to tell you but that's still copying, I'm not trying to pick a fight here, because we're both going to get this locked and attract Moderator attention. So, let's just leave it at this;
If you are using templates, be sure to give credit where due. I had some of my work stolen from this site and put on another site, I was not best pleased, I'm sure you would be the same if someone took your work and started claiming it as their own.
