EDIT After looking at your pastebin, your computer is simply to old to run the game, core 2 duo's won't do to well, and that radeon hd 3000 series card is extremely old. your best off getting a better pc for anything altogether
You need to update your drivers.
If your on Ubuntu, type in Additional Drivers and launch it, click on either the NVidia ones or AMD ones, then press APPLY, restart and try launch again
On Windows: Use IOBIT Driver Booster 3 (Simple google to get) and run that, it'l sort your graphics driver and other drivers out for you, when its done, restart your computer and attempt to launch the game.
JAVA:
Make sure you have JAVA installed aswell, sometimes installing both Java 7 and 8 can fix strange issues, use
