The last thing I want to talk about to anyone interested is the heroes plugin which gives this server a great rp and pvp enviroment. So heroes give the server the classes that are a major part of mmo.
You start as tier 1 Knave/Rogue, Squire/Warrior, Acolyte/Healer and Initiate/Mage then as you progress you can enter into the tier 2s then tier 3s and finally tier 4s which by the end you are a very specified class that has its own unique abilities that you have worked very hard to gain as a player on the server.
WARNING. PVP is very very very hard for a tier 1 and tier 2 tier 3s can handle some tier 4s and can be useful but tier 1 and tier 2 can be impossible to use and you will feel very weak and useless at the beginning but if you can kill someone as a tier 1 or 2 you will be remembered as a prodigy in most cases lol.
This is the post from our category classes in the wiki you can explore and see what you like:
http://atherys.com/wiki/index.php?title ... ry:ClassesThe people of A'therys are capable of a wide variety of feats, from sorcery to swordsmanship. But no one is immediately a veteran; even the mightiest hero started at the lowest tier. Practitioners of the various mortal arts often go by certain names, known to most who would aspire to great things. This page will list all such "classes" of individual as a repository for the eager learner - at this time, relations between classes (in terms of skill level progression) must be found within the class pages themselves. There are four main paths that any novice may try: the paths of the Mage, the Warrior, the Shadow, and the Priest.
