    I have now started building the Church of the Holy Apostles in my Constantinople map.
    Since this is a significant building, I have decided to post updates of my progress on Reddit. Day 1 of these updates can be found here.

    I realize some people have been wondering whether or not the Constantinople project is still going on or not. I guess this is a fair question, because I haven't really stated this outright, and the old submission from 4 years ago has been left dormant for a long time.

    So as a brief FAQ:

    Are you still building Constantinople?
    
    Yes, quite actively infact. Progress is however slow both due to the nature of the build, and due to a couple of restarts in the last 4 years. This time around I've made the entire map as accurate as possible though, which should prevent future restarts.

    Why aren't you updating it yet?

    I don't think there's enough 'new' stuff to be shown yet that wasn't already built in the old post. My main focus has been on the Great Palace, which I can't show yet for NDA related reasons.

    When can we expect an update?

    If things go accordingly, it should be some time next year.

    I'm looking forward to your work. Many people are not doing download distribution for Constantinople. I really want to see it.

    No, but the world should be on a server by then, if all goes according to plan anyway.

    I don't really wanna post a huge world download that's mostly empty after all.

    Based upon his reply to me, I don't think the download will be at a specific date, but rather when it is done or at least near-done. In other words, it seems like there's no definite date for a download.

    Yeah, I do plan to give out a download when it's getting reasonably close to done.

    Before that I will indeed host a server with the world, but that won't be until around June next year.
