Minecraft/Discussion Lava and Stationary Lava... I don't get it...

Also, if I understand it correctly a redstone current led into the stationary liquid block (might be enough leading it into one of the adjacent blocks, come to think about it.. Haven't tried that) can alter the state of stationary lava (also stationary water) to start the flow. Only works once though, but it's a nice tip if you're Op on a server and want to build non-auto-reversible trap or mechanic. Been a while since I tried it though so it might have been altered in recent updates.

Since Minecraft is java-based and therefore eat a lot of your computer's memory I've noticed that just doing a disk clean up on your main drive helps quite a bit with performance. At least it does for me.

While your comment is partly true, it hardly required it's own topic. This is basically spam.

To be a little more constructive: Remember that a forum is a place for discussion, and the different boards are for different topics. I could see how a topic about "Why do YOU like minecraft" in perhaps the "everything else" board could be considered interesting, as it is a question that you can discuss.

Just stating that minecraft is awesome and taking up a whole post doing it is not trying to start a discussion, it mostly just makes the forum more clogged and makes relevant posts harder to find. So next time try to think "does this warrant discussion?" before you post.

And besides: We all think the world of minecraft, otherwise we wouldn't be here.

As the 2D view works now you actually see the hat as well, only superinposed on the head, so it is as if it wasn't bigger than the head.

The subscriptions idea, which i will probably copy this text into on the ideas page, would be a button that would give a user some kind of notification when they log in if the project had been updated since their last login or view (login would probably be a lot easier and it would track the initial login time, allowing update notifications to happen if i stay logged in all day) This would be useful on projects, blogs/stories/etc, and maybe textures. Would not really be useful on skins since most of those are uploaded complete and nobody stores mods here. Servers would also not really need a subscription flag, though it could be used to indicate that i am a regular player on that server until something like server stats tracking is implemented.



Only problem with this idea, while a great one, is that currently every blog post is separate. You can't add posts to the same blog, instead you just add another blog. Unless you update the one you've got and add to the end of it, but that'd make for metric tons of text. We should be able to add posts to started blogs for this to work.

Did they give you credit? If they did I'd see it as more of a fan conversion.

If not you should ask that they do.

We should push users to brandish other people's stuff by writing in a forum post instead. Maybe even set up a sub-forum for it?

Posts like This one is a great way to show things that aren't your creation.

Isn't that was school is for? Finding work-arounds to the rules? Check if they have usb connections on the back of the computer. They might've forgotten to lock those?

If you bring a decent USB stick you might be able to play single player from that.. AND keep the save.

Anyways, I mostly doodled. I plan on selling my old school notebooks for a steep price when I become a famous artist..
