Like the others already said, it was removed (after 1.7.3 Beta I believe.. so starting with Beta 1.8 it must have been removed), but if you play in an old Minecraft version, it would still be there
That being said, for a Charity Livestream to the "End of the world" (30 million blocks travel to the worldborder), we snipped out original Farlands with WorldEdit (which was quite a hassle to get to the old FarLands in the first place as there were no such old mods back then) and integrated it into the minecart ride worldsave as Special at the position/coordinates where the old FarLands would have been, and the reactions of the stream viewers were overwhelming
