    What the VIRUS does:

    It puts a folder in your existing versions (modpacks) called ".mixin.out"

    Most ad links such as adfly and adfocus do not controll there ads very well, however Mediafire seems to be safe.

    There are also download links which don't use ads, such as Google Drive and Dropbox.

    The staff have said that they are thinking of ways to remove adfly from the website, but it might take a long time.

    Thank you dreamCritting. I know, I did not expect them anything to do, but I wanted to keep this option open. I think, that using a link shortener that is known for including virus is also the responsibility of the one who shares it.

    Honestly, I did not know that. I've been downloading from adfly for many years now, and have always been lucky so far. Thank you for the information.
    Actually, I solved the problem for myself. I still think, that the page should be removed from Planetminecraft, since it is misleading and the conversations are close, so we cannot even advert others.
    As for me, I solved the problem.

    Please, would you recommend me an ALTERNATIVE to ADFLY? I was seriously thinking to use it, too. And I would not want to do the same mistake as MCC Crafting.

    It's not delibirately a virus, it's just an adfly link and they often give people viruses so I never download stuff from adfly, if it was supposed to be a virus the staff would have removed it.

    Also the user who posted it was last seen 2 years ago so don't expect them to do anything.
