If your on windows, I can't really help you, but if your on ubuntu, you should be able to go into command prompt, and you should be able to type ./"filename". if that doesn't work then you would probably half to right click on the fiel, go into "properties" and turn "executing file as program" on. Then you should be able to run it. Beyond that, I can't help you.
