gosh i run into this sometimes. or when you're on google or something looking for a new wallpaper under 1920x1080p, and you can't find any that's actually that size despite saying it or they're always like one size lower so it ends up being blurry af. REEEEEEEE....

PMC/Discussion Just Curious, which do you use? The newer JAPPA textures, or the classic programmer art?

I like using the new ones when I'm not using texture packs, I just prefer it because it looks better to me, and neither feel more "Minecraft" in my opinion.
Yea, I know it's how Minecraft looked, I've played since 1.4, so I'm pretty familiar with it, but I don't feel attached.
I've almost always used texture packs such as Ozocraft, Sphax, Pumpkin Patch, Lithos, and A New World. [​All of these were popular packs for me] And a few others recently, so I've never gotten attached to a specific look. It just comes down to theme and what looks good to me, honestly. So...JAPPA for me, though for a more "Default" feel I tend to default to Jicklus, or Depixel.

Just my opinion though.

never seen it used like that personally, from where I've heard of it the origins was WoW because when you're alliance and an orc says "lol" the alliance will see "kek" instead, so from where I've seen it it's always been used as another way to say "Lol." or to laugh ("kekekekeke"), that's interesting, though. (not saying your usage is wrong, just different than what I'm used to, and I find it cool :3)

To be fair, it won't ruin the point completely, since those also allow you (at least I know WorldPainter does) to make custom terrain. Improved World Generation won't mean that you'll always have your ideal terrain for certain projects, after all..

Curious how it would work and be K-pop themed, and how it turns out. Could be a cool concept that gets done well or bad in practice. I don't often listen to K-pop, if at all honestly, but it sounds like one of those servers I'd play to see the concept for a little and see how interesting it is.
Poll's missing 2 (well, 3, but nobody would answer the third, there's no civilian life there really, if there is, I've never found it in my searches and it's not very big, talking about Antarctica.) continents, South America, and Africa. (South and North America are different continents.) But that's not really important since people can comment if they're from either.

Wish you luck on this server, sounds like a cool concept.

neither...being able to chill in a solo survival or creative n no one to really judge how I do things unlike some other games..can't judge something you don't know is going on. i guess that falls under "Worlds"?

As someone who genuinely can't use Chrome, I believe you. Chrome won't even load webpages for me no matter what I do, so I kinda dislike using Chrome. It's oke to not like Optifine, I personally use it bc I like the advanced features and connected textures and the sort, but if those features are unimportant to you, all power to you! ^_^ You will have fun with what you find fun :3

No reasons are invalid, it's common that bad experiences will root negative opinions. :3 Having a different opinion founded on bad experience is oke.

Yeah, works with servers and all, it's the same as using 1.14 or any other versions, just its with Optifine's features. Generally preforms better / is more stable than when used as its own separate mod tbh, from what I've seen. Basically it's just Vanilla + more configuration in options + more framework to do cool stuff with resource packs.


If you dunno or if someone else who reads this doesn't know what exactly to do...
You just go to the Optifine site and click "Download" (Or "Mirror" if you don't like adfocus). (Sites here >_< just in case, if you already know then no problem. might help someone else who reads this reply.)
Use what you download as an installer (double click the .jar file), make sure its in the right path to your Minecraft, and click "Install," when its done you go to your Minecraft and click the profile that has Optifine in its name for the version you want to play. (Small edit - you do have to get the optifine for the version you want, one version doesn't fit all.)

No 1.15 yet, you can check progress here tho. Hope this helps .w. sorry if its redundant info.
