You don't do it on your profile, you have to go to a skin you posted and then you will see the three dots, click that and you will see the option to feature the skin on your profile

after you hit 'generate color faded text', copy the text in the 'color code' section, instead of the 'results' section!

i also use this, it may be a bit easier to use
