So... 1.21 is out and much to my surprise: already fully supported by Fabric, including Iris & Sodium. Meanwhile OptiFine is still working on support for 1.20.6.

I've always used the Minecraft vanilla launcher so far, but today I finally snapped: I'm done with having to wait for the stupid loading screen, just because it "needs" to download stupid ads I don't even want to see. New stop: the Prism launcher.

Minecraft is often also about enjoying the small things. I can never get enough from seeing those small smoke/dust particles behind my friend feet while she speeds off. Silly, cartoonish, but also fun!

Today is the day! We prepped, we've trained hard (jumping up and down a squeezer :P) and my friend poured a lot of 'mana' into potion flasks. This is the day where the Ender Dragon has to go ;)

Shell's random admin tip: want to give your players/friends some random stuff? Don't rely on /loot because it gives you boring results: just a bunch of items in a row! Instead, use /loot to find a proper loot table for your chest ("blocks" section), then use: /data merge block <pos> {LootTable:"<table>"}.

Now you get a collection of items spread out across the chest, which is much more fun to look at!

Do you know why Minecraft will always be better than Roblox? The Roblox community standards! This is a bit of a troll post, but still based on facts => romantic or flirtatious gestures are still strictly prohibited over there. Better watch out if you're playing with significant others ;)

The neighbors brought over Christmas cookies, which was very nice of them, but they are so sugary I can feel my blood pressure rising after having just one.

I was kinda annoyed when I discovered that right clicking on a sign would edit it. But I was soon satisfied again when I learned about the 'is_waxed' property... honeycombs FTW! ;)

Time for another random admin tip! Want to give an animal a custom name yet without the hassle of nametags and anvils? Couldn't be easier with 1.20.x => look at the mob, then use: /data merge entity <id> {CustomName:"ILoveThisMobSoMuchThatItHurtsCantUC|4Real!"}. Where "id" can be selected with tab, look for a long sequence of numbers.

For all you fellow admins out there... ever needed to help a player quickly clean out a (vanilla) chest? Forget about breaking, collecting, /clear and then replacing => /data merge block <coords> {Items:[]} while you're looking at the chest.
