Btw guys, idk whats wrong with me

I would always be happy when checking PMC, but now i just have a blank face checking pmc
It just seems boring now, most of the good users that gave me joy a long time ago is either gone or i just havent talked to them in a while or idk, not as active anymore (like me)

i used to be active on discord even like a week ago but i think i lost interest on discord too. Everyone there is like depression this, disorder that, i mean i get that they're depressed and they have disorders, and there are some i actually wanna help but some just think having a disorder or a dark past is something to be proud about and brings it up EVERYTIME

theres this one kid who i think is probably 12 according to my calculations, wants to end their life cuz a girl they like got a boyfriend???? Like i dont know the whole story but they always bring it up and puts it everywhere, making me question if i just handled the same situation like 10 million times better cuz if u remember it that happened to me back in april

Anyone know why im losing interest in everything related to the internet??????

As I've grown up, and looked back at what I've upload here I noticed that only the latest 2 pages of my updated skins, and the latest 2 submission pages in general are the ones that contain all the goodies. The rest is just trash tbh.

I stopped frequently uploading due to university, but maybe one day.

So question for all the artists here,
How do l get better at drawing people and human proportions? Where do I start? What do I need to practice?

I've tried drawing humans for years (My drawing of people look ugly), it's part of the reason why I stopped drawing. My skills are in shading, and I'm only really good at plants. I love art with every part of my being and I want to be able to be as good as everyone else.

Photo studies are a good way to practice, as Aurosilia mentioned. Here is a resource (warning: artistic nudity) that has a bunch of pictures to draw from. Stock photo sites and Pinterest are also good photo sources.

Include drawings from imagination in your practice as well, so that you don't get stuck only being able to make art by copying from photos. Study construction methods for the human body, the Loomis method is a good place to start. You can get Figure Drawing For All It's Worth for free on Archive.org, or at most libraries or bookstores. I also really like Figure Drawing Design and Invention, and Anatomy for Sculptors, although your mileage may vary with these depending on your current skill level. If you prefer videos, I would recommend Sycra and Proko.

The way to get good proportions is to do comparative measurements using your pencil, which after some time you will be able to eyeball. There are many proportional relationships that make up the human body which you will learn. For example, the body is divided roughly in half at the level of the hips.
