Well it's officially the start of the Holiday Season, which means it's time for me to pull out the Christmas movies once again.
We had a lovely Thanksgiving, and last night we went to a Tree lighting here on the island. We're going to a Christmas Parade next weekend.

So I realize that with this being a Minecraft website, it's actually been a little while since I've posted anything Minecraft related.

Well I've recently been inspired to pick this project back up again, and I just finished building the entire right side of the Disneyland Paris Sleeping Beauty Castle, and I'm going to try to complete the build over the Holiday Season, and I'll try to post more pictures of my progress, and of the build once it's finished.

This is Batman wanting to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 🍽️! I was wondering if you all had any special plans for today? For me, I think it's going to be a very quiet Thanksgiving here at Wayne Manor. Mom and I are going to watch the parade, and then later on we're going to enjoy a nice, quiet Thanksgiving dinner together. I'm also going to a tree lighting this Saturday.

This is Batman wanting to wish all of you a very Happy Halloween 🎃 👻 🦇from all of us here in Gotham City. Do you have any special plans for the day? I think I'm going to hang out here at home, and tonight mom and I are going to watch the new Haunted Mansion tonight that just came out last year. We might go down to the beach today if the weather is nice.

Hey everyone,

Sorry if I haven't posted in a little while. Between island life and crime fighting in Gotham City I've been really busy. Plus I've made a new friend who I've been hanging out with on Thursdays. We've been playing video games together, and we have a lot in common too.

I just got back from the movie theaters seeing "Beetlejuice 2" better known as "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice." Before I get into my thoughts on the movie, I would like to take a minute to talk about how much Beetlejuice means to me.

Being a 90s kid, Beetlejuice was always something special to me, as well as the films of my favorite director Tim Burton. In fact my persona and profile pic are inspired by his Batman movies. I've watched the original Beetlejuice movie countless times as a kid, and I still watch it around Halloween. I'm also a fan of the Beetlejuice animated cartoon series which I also watched ALOT of. I have both the movie and the complete cartoon series on DVD.

I admit that I knew there had been talks of a sequel for years, until now it finally got made. At first I was skeptical because I didn't see how a sequel would work, or where the story could go beyond the original. I thought the cartoon series was good enough as a spin off. Seeing the trailer for it definitely changed my mind. I was intrigued, and I thought "wow this looks really good. Tim Burton is back along with Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O' Hara? I think this will be really good!"

Then the reviews came out, and it now it's dominating the box office. I knew I had to go see it, and they were right. It's a FANTASTIC sequel.


It definitely honored the original, and there were a lot of call backs to the original movie, but it also did continue the story 30 years later. Michael Keaton absolutely stole the show once again as the title character in my favorite role of his next to Batman (he's still the best.) He's still absolutely hilarious as the Ghost with the Most, and is just as great in the role now as he was 30 years ago.


Winona Ryder (another one of my favorite actresses) returns as a slightly more mature Lydia Deetz, and she's just amazing reprising the role now as when she originated it in the original movie. Catherine O' Hara once again returns as Delia (she's still great too. Another actress whose work I've always admired.)


Newcomers included Jenna Ortega (from the Wednesday Addams TV show) plays Lydia's daughter Astrid. Monica Bellucci plays Beetlejuice's former wife and soul sucking ghost Delores, and Willem Dafoe (The Green Goblin from "Spider-Man") plays the part of an afterlife actor who thinks he's a cop. All of whom were really great too.

The movie definitely has solid direction from Tim Burton and he does a really good job pulling you back into that spooky and zany world you loved in the original. Danny Elfman does a great job with the score providing new orchestrations of songs from the original.

I'm not going to make this a spoiler review, but all I can say is if you're a fan of Tim Burton and love the original Beetlejuice movie, you will definitely LOVE the sequel. And yes, you do get Beetlejuice's backstory in this. Definite 9/10 from me.
