I hesitate to take a break on my bird beds...
I'm starting to get bored doing them, I tell myself that since I'm doing this for fun, yeah, I should take a break if it's starting to bore me but also...
I feel like I would be sad to think this would be the first time that... I would fail to follow my plan on posts :(

don't worry... break is cool also maybe try something new? like mammal beds or knight skins??? maybe you try to make mods, texture packs or stories? anyways break is needed becouse after break you feel better :)

I think I need some advice...
Because I find myself in a somewhat complicated situation with an event that I'm organizing on my group and which... ends tomorrow.
There was to be a winner for each category, a winner for a mob skin, a winner for a player skin and a winner for a blog.
I only had three entries...
a mob skin, a player skin and a blog.
But now... what do I do? I believe you should easily understand the problem.
---------------------------------------------------------------
-Do I make them all winners
-Do I choose the best of the three
-Do I extend the duration of the event

The problem with the first choice... is that it would look weird... everyone wins trophies of winners. Then an event is not really made for everyone to win the same prize. Otherwise, what's the point of participating to win if everyone wins?

As for picking a single winner...it's not very good to change the rules of an event towards the end...well, that's what I think. And in my opinion, it might not please everyone...

For the increase in the duration of the event, I am not very motivated to do it for the same reason. It's not really the best thing to do (especially since I would announce this news a little too late) then second, it may displease some people.

Tell me what you would advise me the most to do. What would you do if you had the same problem as me?

Maybe ask the group on what they wanna do. I would extend the date and do some advertising of the contest.

Here's what I plan to do when I've done all the player skins I plan to do:
- I will update all my old skins to make them better.
- I will enable player skin requests.
When I've all done that, I'll see.

I'm sorry, for now I'm only doing human player skins, what I'm doing related to birds are beds only. But I know that one day, I might run out of ideas, so you just gave me an idea, which I will surely do for Easter :)

I celebrate my one year on PMC today! :D
I had a good time... I improved (a little)... and even more, during this one year.
I hope to continue to have as many good times on PMC and also to continue to improve... as long as possible ^^

I made a player skin (which I won't post) with the objective of seeing what I can do if I really try my best (Because I know I can get better at making player skins ) Great, I don't even know why I wasted my time doing this when I just want to improve as slowly as possible... without rushing me! I think I lost 30 minutes that I could have wisely used for a future skin that I will have posted.

Aww Rosa it's ok to make skins that you don't post. It's part of improving and it isn't wasted time. If I could tell you how many skins I started and spent time on, I would tell you but I simply don't remember. lol

Also what are you trying to get better at? Is it shading?
Idk I can probably help. If you need it. Lol, I understand how frustrating it is to want to improve but It feels so hard.

I'm so happy that the skin editor is keeping the last thing we did even if we close it! I had almost finished something that took a lot of effort (something I'll be posting in a very long time) and then suddenly I accidentally close the skin editor. Pff ... if the skin editor didn't save the last thing I did, I would have been angry :p
