You could make it so the highest rank can be customized, so If I spend enough money I can call myself whatever I like.

Oh... I guess that'd be cool too, but doesn't it seem a bit restrictive? It would trigger a whole ton of blogs that are all fundamentally the same. I dunno if I would want that.

    supslowrobot:idea: Emerald,Lapiz,Quartz Picaxe,Shovel,Sword,Axe + Armor

    Please explain why.

    Just... please.

I see no appeal to these armors except for possibly a new use for ores that are already useful for other things.

Wait, so by writing it around a specific theme, you can basically choose the contest theme (if you win)...

    Awesome.

I'd use a wither though, since it's smaller, you can hide it in or around the boss room fairly easily, and it won't get in the way.

S_HackerIf you want to host a server, fund most of it yourself instead of forcing the players to fund the server and have a bad experience if they don't.

I would love to host a server, but there's no way I can host one if I can't even make as much as I'm spending on it. It would be fun, but it would also be an impractical waste of money, and it'll all go to waste unless I get even more money to pour into it.

So if you TP an entity to another entity, the first entity will automatically face the same way as the other?

    Imm say gamecube.

I mean, wii and wii U are obviously superior, but gamecube was greater in its time then they are/were in theirs.

And its controller is the best.

If you don't like guardians, don't go to ocean temples. They are entirely avoidable.

Besides, it's not as if they're robots or something. They're bio-lasers... or something.

Also, prismarine is awesome. Dark prismarine is perfect for roads, and sea lanterns are lights that actually look nice with most building styles.

Don't complain about something that you can just entirely avoid if you want. It's not like you're required to visit temples to get the full survival experience.

So depending on which way the player faces, the command block summons a different armor stand?

So if there was different command blocks to detect every 30 degrees interval the player can face (a total of 12 directions) and attach them via comparators to blocks that spawn armor stands facing the same direction...

Wait a minute. Could I compact it a single set of command blocks with a command similar to: /execute @p[r=64.rym=-15,ry=15] summon ArmorStand [rotation=0f]

Wait a minute, Am I seriously still the last person to post here?

But that's okay, because this is a sticky thread.

I'm here to ask how to summon armor stands facing the same direction as the player. I've seen sethbling do it in his instant-replay video, I just want to know how...

Also, can I make zombies/skeletons that do a similar thing? It wouldn't have the head/arm motion, but I could make it face the same way right?

Step 1: Make a quality server.

Step 2: Use a donation plugin.

Step 3: Put a sign or a MoTD that says "Donations go towards making us a better lobby."

Step 4: Someone random says "Pfft, I could make you an awesome lobby for free."

    Step 5: Let him.

Maybe this wouldn't work, but it's how I picture this situation going in my head.

    Ender dragon.

You have to mine and build to get to the crystals before slaying it, making it a well fleshed out battle that encapsulates minecraft better. It also has its own area, so it won't fly off into the distance while your trying to kill it.

I'm not going to rehash my emerald argument but...

Would someone explain why you want more ores? I don't see a point above diamond, and throwing stuff in-between would just be even more pointless.

The best game ever should have:
    Fun Gameplay
    Original Concepts
    Epic Story/Plot
    Interesting Characters
    Good Music
    Good Graphics

That is in order of importance.

Gameplay is the most important feature in any game.

Concepts are what makes the gameplay stand out.

Here there is a huge drop. Everything else isn't nearly as important. (I mean, obviously. People play minecraft)

An epic story and interesting characters will keep the game in peoples heads long after the game is over.

Good music and graphics are the least important, but they still help significantly.

With that said, what game has ALL these features?

    Click to reveal

    Don't believe me?
Fun gameplay: well this is mostly based off of opinion, but the platforming/rpg hybrid is awesome.

Concepts: Character switching, flipping to 3d, RPG and platforming?

    Story:
Tippi used to be lady Timpani, and count Bleck used to be lord Blumiere. Blumiere's father banished Timpani, so Bleck made the logical assumption that a world without her was not worth living in and he should destroy all the universes. Meanwhile, Merlon finds Timpani (in another dimension) dying, so to save her life, he turns her into a cute little bug thing called a pixl and she loses her memory. Count Bleck (who has been joined by Dimentio (master of illusion and trickery), Mimi (Shape-shfter) Nastasia (With hypnosis powers), and O'Chunks (Stupid brute)) hypnotizes Peach to marry Bowser to summon the chaos heart which can destroy all the universes, so Merlon sends tippi to get Mario and assemble the pure hearts (Crystals forged of love which can stop the chaos heart). On the way, Peach and Bowser join his party and become playable characters along side him, and Luigi gets hypnotized into a villain, but dimentio kills him and sends him to the Underwhere (Videogame afterlife) where Mario and his crew are looking for the second to last pure heart. He joins their party. They get the last heart, and go to stop count Bleck. They use the pure hearts on count Bleck, then Dimentio betrays count bleck and takes the chaos heart for himself. Then Dimentio combines himself, the chaos heart, and re-hypnotized Luigi to create a monster. The combined love from every dimension reactivates the pure heart, thus allowing Mario and his party to stop super Dimentio. Dimentio leaves behind a shadow of his power to finish the job. Since the pure hearts are inactive again, Count Bleck and Timpani (Who got her memory back at some non-specific point) get married, thus reforging the pure heart and stopping the chaos heart for good... And don't even get me started on some of the side characters like Luvbi.

    Interesting characters: (See Story)

Good Music: Listen to that final boss music... and Mr L's theme... and the underground theme remix thing... I could go all day.

Graphics: For a cartoony wii game, pretty good.

It's excellent... for a recolor. I likely would have rated it lower if you had tried to pass it off as original.

I'd rather they didn't. Swimming and/or boating is a pain even with depth strider, so I would rather not have it become an essential or important part of survival.
