"Did I reach you? I hope I did"
Finally had the time to watch
Your Lie in April and I am hopping on the "Best Anime 2014/15" bandwagon for this one. It has been a while since a show has garnered such an emotional reaction from me.
The art and animation is beautiful.
The soundtrack is beautiful as it should be for a show with heavy plot emphasis on music.

And the storyline is a vacuum; pulling the helpless viewer into a transient cliche rom-com before transitioning into "a series about learning to heal, learning to move on, and learning to accept the parts of ourselves that we’d rather pretend aren't there" (Thank you random MAL reviewer <3). It brings out some "heavy" topics and it inflicts many "feels"; much more than Clannad in my case.
Glad to be able to put a new show up on my favorites list.
Am I the only one completely in awe of this show?
