Ghost001It's because they have no friends so they hack to be the cool kid in school then they realize
1. Only like 5 people at their school play Minecraft
2. They realize that they just hacked in a game because they sucked so much so they tried to hack in a game to be the cool kid even though people now think their even more of a loser now.
nitromegamerWhat was the worst server you have ever joined? Why was it so awful? Share your story here!
When I had just gotten Minecraft for my birthday in August 2011, I was trying out some new servers and joined one where I was trapped in the spawn. In fact, there were about 20 other players who were also trapped in the spawn! Apparently the owner was trapping everyone in the spawn until they read the rules. It was absolutely horrible.
Another time, I was an administrator on a server. Nothing seemed bad to me (though the owner would always built random ugly building right on top of mine) until I told him that I wanted to spend more time on another server. He demoted me to a citizen, and then things got REALLY bad. Not only did he reset the world almost every other day, but I was constantly being griefed! The server even had a strict "No Griefing" rule, but he wasn't doing a single thing about it!!! Eventually I left out of sheer frustration, and I haven't returned since (I don't even have the IP anymore). That was about a year ago.
mincraftEDParilBatch files are less dangerous because they are plain text and readable by anybody, whereas executables are harder to decompile in some cases. Still, they count, as users can easily make a batch file to wipe hard drives.
