Well, well...
Since this team seems to stick together I'd like to appy again.

I honestly think that "to make redstone" is not a great answer to the question "what kind of redstone"...

Would you mind to provide some more detailed information?

I never denied that there are some good redstoners at that age, and it's very impressive if that's the case, but it's also very uncommon.

How many other advanced redstoners do you know who are that young?

I'd be quite interested. But "redstone team" is some kind of a broad definition...
What kind of redstone stuff is this team about?
And while I'm asking... Who exactly is "we"? How many people are already on the team?

May I ask what people are actually referring to when they say their redstone skill is 9/10? Knowledge about redstone mechanics? Or logic gates, computer logic, creativity with redstone, the ability to build anything they want to?... There is no clear basis.

I finished mine

It's a bit "off the scale" but it's fully functioning and works just fine.

You won't be able to use it unless you're a member but you can maybe try to figure out how it works or so...

I just started building my own version. I'm not able to record any videos atm though...
But you can actually take a look at it on your own when I get it done. I'm building it on a redstone server which is also open for visitors.

It appears somewhere on the screen. I've seen this several times on different servers but I don't know if it's a mod or if you can do that with commandblocks in vanilla...

Why that? I think "board" means some kind of scoreboard setup which can be shown on the ingame screen. I'm not an expert on scoreboard functions but that's possible as far as I know...
If you'd want to do it with signs then it would be kinda obvious that you'd need a plugin/mod since signs have nothing to do with redstone. And in that case glasseater probably wouldn't have posted this in the redstone section...

Dang, you got us!

Alright alright, we're highly advanced Aondroids, programmed to spend our time playing minecraft to develope new redstone based technologies for a secret
establishment called "Area 21.5"....

But please don't tell this to anyone else, ok?:D


But seriously, this was actually not THAT hard to invent. The building part was quite tricky because it involves a lot of precise timing, but the rest is just a pretty simple concept of moving blocks and saving data. Overall the most frustrating part was to get the timings right while the game created randomly occuring errors because it was completely overloaded with all the processes working together...
For instance, when my brother hosts the server, everything goes well. But as soon as I enter the world, the scanner won't necessarily work properly anymore.
I can't think of any oher explanation for this than that the server just can't handle it correctly.

What's the point of a post like that?


MusicrafterDataless822 made a pretty nice vertical BUD switch. His horizontal one got broken when redstone mechanics were changed in 1.2, but I improvised and created one of my own. It's actually a bit smaller than his, not to brag or anything. It's a piston BUD switch, the easiest to make. Codecrafted and a few others have created pistonless BUD switches, as well, but I don't know how to make them.


Craftinarian didn't ask for a specific version of a BUD but for a BUD that tests for a specific block...
