You definitely seem like you're going somewhere if you keep practicing! But if I were you I'd practice around more in a traditional sketchbook with a pencil so you can focus more on your style and improvement than worrying about the mechanics of a drawing program. (speaking as someone who's juggled both at the same time, not fun!)
I like the cartoon approach you seem to have here but there are some basic portions of anatomy that even cartoonish characters have. Your character here seems to be lacking a neck and lacking shoulders. It also seems like the head is a bit too big for the body, so in the future when you begin to add things such as shoulders and necks, look into how to size it appropriately to look the most fitting!
If you want a bit of a tip on how to improve, look at some of your favorite cartoons, video games, and comics and if you find yourself stumped on pulling off a good part, look at how they drew it out. My early human style (I use to draw a lot of cats and furries... lol) came from inspiration off of Scott Pilgrim vs The World, but over time I took bits and pieces from other styles I liked, for example, I liked the way someone drew their eyes on this video game cover so I use that style, and then once I looked at how a webcomic artist drew noses on their character and took that from there! Eventually I used all these different things to make my own original style!
If you strive to be more realistic, learning how to draw from references like drawing people on magazine covers or things like that also kind of helped me too as far as studying human bodies went.
I hope maybe this helped you out a bit! If you ever need help or feedback on any art feel free to message me!
